PremYoga for Beginners
If you've been interested by yoga or wondered if it's something you'd like, this is the ideal way to start. In a safe, supportive environment you'll learn how to listen to your body's needs and respect its limitations through gentle stretching and breathing. A regular practice of PremYoga can reduce stress, increase flexibility, enhance your overall feeling of wellness, and provide quality time for reflection in your busy life. In this class you'll learn the basics for building a solid practice, including but not limited to:
Breathing techniques to help you relax and rejuvenate Proper alignment for developing skill in the form of the postures The sequence of postures to continue practicing at home Positive Motivation to continual practice beyond the class room Exploration of the relationships between body, mind, and spirit Positive affirmations & visualizations "where the mind goes, healing energy flows"
PremYoga Intermediate Class (open) all levels In this class you learn practices that integrate the awareness of moving energy with an applied knowledge of the of yogic anatomy.. This stage of PremYoga blends longer holding times with an intimate awareness of sensations that reunite the physical, emotional, and energy bodies. Deeper yoga rests in the heartfelt knowledge that we are individual bodies and that we are also One with the Universal Spirit.
